Varsity Club
Founded in 1934, the Syracuse University Varsity Club is comprised of former student-athletes who competed in a varsity sport and earned the Athletic Department's Block S letter during their career at Syracuse University. All letter winners of any varsity sport, including cheerleading, are eligible to participate in this exclusive club. The Varsity Club promotes, fosters and assists in the development of the Syracuse University Athletics Department by initiating and participating in any activity that promotes excellence within the Athletics Department.
Furthermore, the Varsity Club supports the goals and objectives of the Syracuse University Athletics Department:
- Ensuring that Syracuse University is recognized annually as one of the greatest athletics institutions in the country, and
- To be extraordinary in every way -- on the field, in the classroom, in the community and in the world.
